Church Teachings
The Church of Christ makes a plea for people to turn back to the Bible and God's
plan for man's salvation. It seems simple but mankind has added many things to
God's plan in an effort to make it better or easier that you can hardly recognize
anything of God's simple plan in most religious organizations. Please let us take a
moment of your time to introduce you to a few of our teachings in the Church of Christ.
I. First, have no creed but the Bible.
II. Second, we have no name but Christ's.
III. There is no organization but His church.

God's plan in an effort to make it better or easier that you can hardly recognize
anything of God's simple plan in most religious organizations. Please let us take a

I. First, have no creed but the Bible.
- The Bible is the only ground for unity. Christ prayed for unity in John 17:20
and He gave us His word to go by. He is intelligent enough to know how to
tell His children what He expects them to do in order to have His salvation.
He gave us His word and it is all we need. - His word says in 1 Corinthians 1:10 for His children to speak the same thing
and to be of the same mind. The only way we can do this is to go by the same
creed book. He gave us His word and it is all we need. - His word condemns division, strife, etc. as works of the flesh (Galatians
5:16-21). The only way to keep from having these works of the flesh is to
go by the same creed book. He gave us His word and it is all we need.
II. Second, we have no name but Christ's.
- We wear no name but Christ's name (Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28).
- We can be saved in no other name (Acts 4:12).
- Christ is not divided (1 Corinthians 1:12-13).
- Christ was crucified for us (1 Peter 2:24).
- We are to be baptized in His name (Galatians 3:27). Since it was Christ who
died for us and gave us His plan to go by in order to receive this salvation
and save our souls, let us honor Him by wearing His name alone. He gave us His
word and it's all we need.
III. There is no organization but His church.
- Christ built only His church (Matthew 16:18).
- Christ purchased the church with His blood (Acts 20:28; Colossians 1:18-20).
- There are many members but only one body or church (Romans 12:4-5;
Ephesians 5:23; Ephesians 1:22-23).
